Persistence and Provision
As we reflect on the past season at Strong Life Rescue Mission, our hearts are filled with gratitude and joy for the blessings and successes we've experienced. The support from our community and partners has made a profound impact, enabling us to extend our reach and enhance the quality of services we provide to those in need.

The last few months have been marked by significant strides forward. We’ve successfully broadened our outreach efforts, resulting in a noticeable increase in the number of individuals we can assist. Our programs, from day sheltering to productive job search, are seeing renewed results, equipping our friends with the tools they need to build a brighter future.

When the tropical storm hit this past month, we were right here with those in need. We ran our bus on an extra route to pick up anyone out of the consistent downpour and high winds that came to the area. We extended our normal operating hours until the storm cleared, and all could proceed back to our drop-off points. Prayer and this extra effort were successful in everyone staying safe on this day as we weathered the storm together.

The purchase of a large upright freezer for our facility has been the start of something great at Strong Life. This acquisition has greatly improved our ability to store and manage daily provisions, ensuring that we can consistently provide fresh and nutritious food to those we serve and the organizations in our area who cook for them. Additionally, we are deeply appreciative of the donation of a riding lawn mower. This invaluable contribution has streamlined our maintenance tasks, allowing us to manage our resources more efficiently and focus more on our core mission.

Moving Forward Together
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Infinite Beginnings NC for their hands-on support and dedication. Their selfless work towards case management and mental health services has been instrumental in enhancing the services we offer. They weekly spend an entire day utilizing offices here at Strong Life to fast-track folks through case management to assist us with the help to move folks forward on their journey out of homelessness. Their involvement has not only bolstered our operational capabilities but also inspired others to contribute to our mission.
 
Strong Life has received 2 more stable volunteers to help with our day program and case management this past month. These individuals share a heart for those in greatest need and are willing to sacrifice their time and show their commitment when it matters most. We are excited when folks see our vision to show the love of Christ to others by meeting their needs and walking with them on their journey out of homelessness. We invite you to partner with us and our vision through prayer, financial help, or in person here at Strong Life.
