"She brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn" Luke 2:7
Built For Such A Time As This
All of Strong Life is very grateful God has shown His perfect timing as we prepare for the arctic weather arriving before Christmas. We have worked all year to be where we are now with construction on our new multipurpose building. In the Christmas story, rooms were so full in town that there was no place for Mary and Joseph. This made way for God’s plan of a manger birth to reveal His humility and access for all people to come to Him. This winter we are going to extra lengths to make sure we are accessible to people. Accessible to show love, mercy, and kindness and make room in our hearts for the greatest story ever! We pray there is room in your heart for this story of compassion for those being invited into this wonderful story, our story, and out of the winter cold.
Another Warm Seat!
Our new warehouse has allowed us to squeeze 10 more seats into our rescue mission to enable folks to get out of the weather and come to a safe warm place for the day. There are several churches we are very thankful for, who are willing to cook and deliver meals on Saturdays to provide a hot meal for our friends during the winter. We have extended our hours and added a day to be available to our friends 6 days a week! Please pray for us as this certainly takes its toll on resources and our staff over the next 3 months of winter.
We are currently in need of groups to sort the incredible outpouring of donations that come throughout the winter season. If you or anyone you know wants to come, please call Pastor John to schedule. We also have the need for financial provision during this season to pay heating bills and assist with gas for our bus shuttle to run extra trips to get people out of the cold. If you would like to give for the end of the year, please visit our website www.stronglifenc.org and click on the give tab.
Please know we are so very grateful for you and wish you a Merry Christmas!
